The Basic Makeup of Scrapbooking Layouts

These are the basics of what the average scrapbook layout will consist of. Hope this helps all of you beginners out there.

Photo
Photos are the the essence of scrapbook layouts. Most scrapbooking pages will have at least one or multiple photos on them.


Page Title
The words that highlight, summarize or suggest the page theme on scrapbooking layouts. You can use famous sayings, names, or simple phrases as page titles.

Journaling
Text that expands or explains the story of the photos. But the journaling doesn't have to be related to the event of the photos all the time. You can write out short descriptions including names and dates, heartfelt letters, captions, basic information, quotes, lyrics and even poems.
